Red Cross Young Humanitarian Award
On Friday June 1st, it was officially announced that Charlotte Courage had been unanimously selected as the recipient for the Canadian Red Cross Young Humanitarian Award. She was totally unaware of the nomination. A lot of her talents and accomplishments have come from her experiences within Guiding and have enabled her to grow into the individual she is today. John and Heather are very proud parents.
New in 2007, the Young Humanitarian Award will be presented annually to a young person (under 25) from our province who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of our community, province, country or elsewhere in the world.
The Award will be presented at the 7th annual Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Award Dinner to be held Tuesday November 6th, 2007 at the Delta St. John's Hotel and Conference Centre.
